addicted to addiction

things that make a day better
bright environs
playful banter
the light that is you
warmth that makes me glow

a few innocent smiles
bloom the corners of my mouth

some indescribable happiness
surge through the whole of me

slowly carries me out
from the security of
pools of darkness

like slow configuring addiction
the warmth becomes my prison

in the space of few days
in the zoom of emotional haze
everything else vanishes

like slow foaming obsession
this wave of passion

so intensly suffuses
to all the senses
gone dull and blunt

like slow transfusing exaltation
which now holds me rooted

the first, second, third touch
barely, half and then deliberate
few un related words
some silly nonsense
no words

just a smile
a frozen smile

just a look
(just a look...and so much more...)
a searching look

now shall i cross these
sandy beaches
into that ocean?
where does the ocean really begin?

should i take the hand?
wander into the woods?
stride into the danger zone?
succumb to the spell?

designed to destroy

Sunshine in my hair
in your eyes
on my shoulder…

Slow trickling sunset
disheveled in the leaves
tinkling with cool summer breeze

Leisurely appearance of the stars
A distant strain of some forgotten melody

Extinct Awareness
Extant Energy

All that remains,
In the twitter of twilight
Stillness of the air between us…

The hum of silence rises in tempo,
And, am mildly scared…
You can hear the song

Archaic emotions
New feelings

The difference between the dusk and dawn melts
Its just red wine…

And though, you don’t say anything
Nor do I breathe a word

Winged, I swing on the clouds
Wind flirts with my hair
Kisses my cheeks
And, for the moment
I exist, only in the moment

There isn’t a before
Nor an after…

A shy, unsure… step
A cautious skip
A few ghost like smiles…
A lonely walk of miles

"...Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there ..."

An abrupt halt
A slow tug
And a quick turn back of time…

It probably was a dream, anyways

“And when it's over there's no peace of mind
Just a longing for the way things should have been”

You begin to say something
Right when I took in some air to start a conversation
A peal of laughter rings the air

“… so did you hear the song?”
You ask,…
And, all I can manage is a

And with that glint of your eyes,
the dead punch, the straight face

My peace crashes on the floor or
wherever it falls

when it comes off from
the ride of milky way…
