Remember Remember, All of November

The crows, the white bellied sea eagles, eagles, egrets fly over water - west, cawing after the fleeting sun.

Me tracking them from my bay window.

The sky turns to rose, to melon, to yellow, to indigo, and then to night.

Stars, faint here among the pole lamps and the traffic lights, and the thousand lit rectangles of windows that reveal our private worlds, wink into the sky one by one.

There, Moon rippling over the black water and Mars twinkling like a crown jewel.

Hong Kong is such a beautiful balanced juxtaposition of urban and nature – it's almost magical. Almost like smooth jazz.

Nov was a map of stories; hovering on the cusp of winter air.
